LAPTOP Editor in Chief to Moderate Smartphone Device Showcase at Smartphone Summit 2005

New York, NY – March 11, 2005 – LAPTOP Editor In Chief Mark Spoonauer has been invited to moderate the Smartphone Device Showcase at next week’s Smartphone Summit in New Orleans.

The Smartphone Summit, co-located at CTIA WIRELESS 2005, is dedicated to bringing attendees the top smartphone based enterprise solutions from all smartphone O/S platforms including Symbian, Microsoft, palmOne, RIM, and Linux. The targeted attendee demographic includes enterprise users and developers, as well as I.T. professionals.

At the Smartphone Device Showcase, Mark Spoonauer will be joined by prominent smartphone handset makers demonstrating their newest devices being released in 2005 in extended two part sessions, including those running Windows Mobile, Palm OS, and Symbian O/S. Several models being showcased will be compatible with 3G networks now being deployed by the major U.S. wireless carriers, allowing business users to access data at high speeds wherever work takes them. Throughout the conference attendees will be given the inside track on the ways their business can benefit from the latest smartphone technologies, solutions, hardware, software, and accessories.
