New York, NY - January 13, 2005 - After trekking through countless aisles of the latest cutting-edge technologies and watching numerous product demos at last week's 2005 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, LAPTOP Magazine's editorial team has selected their Best of CES 2005. Reporting daily from the show floor, LAPTOP's editors waded through a sea of hundreds of new mobile products from a variety of categories. Every day, certain products caught their eye, but when the last booth was packed up, seven products stood out above the rest as the ones to watch in 2005.
With plenty of innovations on the show floor, the winning products selected by LAPTOP's editorial team were viewed as products that will help evolve mobility in very meaningful ways. "This year's Consumer Electronics Show had an incredible turnout, and we saw dozens of promising new innovations in several categories. These products deserve special recognition for truly pushing the envelope in terms of design and performance. We look forward to bringing our readers in-depth reviews of these award-winners in upcoming issues of LAPTOP," says Editor in Chief Mark Spoonauer.
LAPTOP will continue its search for innovative mobile technology at the upcoming CTIA Wireless Show in New Orleans, March 14-16, where LAPTOP is a participating media sponsor.
