Sara Stephens Named Managing Editor of PC Upgrade Magazine

New York, NY – July 7, 2004 – Bedford Communications, Inc., publisher of consumer technology and gaming titles, is pleased to announce the addition of Sara Stephens to its talented editorial team.

As the Managing Editor of PC Upgrade, Sara Stephens will be responsible for all facets of production of the magazine, from initial story conception to delivery to the printer. This includes assigning stories and working with writers, managing the editing process, working with the art department on layouts, and representing the magazine at conferences and events. Stephens brings more than 12 years of magazine and online editing experience to this position, most recently directing content development and content management for Arthur Andersen’s Metro New York Web site. In addition she has prior experience in managing editorial teams of national trade and consumer magazines, freelance writing, including hardware and software reviews for Windows Magazine, developing marketing strategies for several websites, and moderating conference sessions. She received a BA in Journalism from Texas A&M University.

“We are extremely happy to have Sara Stephens join the PC Upgrade editorial team. Her background as an editor and writer in the tech field and her obviously high regard for publishing will make a significant contribution to each and every issue,” says Editor-In-Chief David Finck.

Stephens will also be responsible for PC Upgrade’s Learning Series, which covers a notable technology title each issue, offering readers a chance to learn all there is to know about a specific subject. The Learning Series is published 6 times per year.
