New York, NY – December 1, 2003 – LAPTOP Magazine, the leading authority on mobile technology, is searching for the smartest mobile hardware and software you can buy. Those innovations deemed to be “Head of the Class” will be featured in the March issue of LAPTOP.
“Over the past several months, we’ve noticed companies moving away from the same old speeds-and-feeds approach and starting to make people’s lives easier on the go by creating products with abilities we’ve never seen before,” says Editor in Chief Mark Spoonauer. “From notebooks that automatically connect you to the fastest wireless network to cell phones that read your e-mail to you in the car, it’s time to recognize those gadgets that really are as smart as they look.”
Companies are invited to submit up to three nominees via e-mail, briefly outlining why their product should be considered and highlighting what makes their product the smartest of its kind on the market. LAPTOP will contact the finalists and ask them to submit the product for testing. The categories include notebooks, mobile phones, wireless networking, handhelds, projectors, digital cameras, Tablet PCs, and software.
