New York, NY - May 29, 2003 - The popularity of picture phones is exploding, and TECH Edge leads the way. Along with AT&T Wireless, TECH Edge is presenting the upcoming "Summer Snapshot Picture Phone Contest." Starting with the July issue of TECH Edge, owners of AT&T Wireless Picture Phones will be encouraged to submit pictures that epitomize the meaning, spirit, and energy of summer. This contest will also be featured in mMode Magazine, on Techworthy.com, and on attwireless.com/mMode.
TECH Edge, a digital lifestyle magazine covering the latest in consumer electronics and computers is the ideal publication for a contest such as this. The March cover story on camera phones resulted in some of the magazine's strongest newsstand sales to date. This promotion will further provide an opportunity to generate interest in multimedia messaging, TECH Edge, and AT&T Wireless.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three pictures chosen by a panel of judges. The 1st Place Prize, Nokia's 3650 Picture and Video Phone, and 2nd place prize, Sony Ericsson's T306 with Camera Attachment, will enable the winners to share their pictures with others. The 3rd place prize will be $100 in AT&T Wireless gift cards. The winning pictures will be featured in upcoming issues of TECH Edge and mMode Magazines, and on Techworthy.com and attwireless.com/mMode. The contest concludes August 31st.
