New York, NY – March 18, 2003 – Bedford Communications’ Techworthy.com, the official web site of LAPTOP, TECH Edge, and PC Upgrade magazines has been enjoying a quick assent to the top of the online computing world. With over 1,200 visits and 4,000 page views a day, and now Yahoo’s ranking as one of the top ten most popular computer/internet magazine web sites, alongside CMPnet, eWeek, and PC World, it’s no wonder the rest of the industry is starting to catch on to Techworthy’s appeal.
In just five months, traffic to Techworthy has increased by over 100 percent. Online subscriptions for all three titles have also doubled. “Techworthy’s new look, functionality, and consistent growth are all part of a concerted effort to provide Bedford with an on-line presence complimentary to that achieved and maintained in all three of our print publications,” says Web Editor, Mike Melanson.
Techworthy.com covers the latest developments in the computing, networking, wireless and Internet worlds. Daily product news releases keep visitors in the know. Other sections include an in-depth product comparison search engine, an informative learning center, a discussion forum, magazine archives, and a new advertising section complete with online media kits, publishing schedules, and reader survey statistics.
